Full job description: 3D Character Designer & Animator

Our 3D character animator develops characters that convey emotion and actions effectively. They are professionals who use artistic abilities to visualize ideas. These creative individuals assist Zoni with their design process and make the organization's message easier for audiences to understand through visual effect work and design. Using creativity and artistic techniques they tell a story or convey message through the animation. They create a wide range of animations from realistic to cartoon styled based on Zoni’s project requirements. They use their expertise in animation software and understanding of movement and expressions to bring characters to life.

We are seeking a talented 3D Character Designer & Animator to join this team, bringing expertise in creating high-quality 3D characters, animations, and interactive web content without coding. In this role, you'll specialize in various aspects of design and video editing, including advertising, digital design, illustration, branding, and multimedia content creation. You will enhance the Marketing department's projects, significantly boosting Zoni's brand visibility across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate will be proficient in 3D design software and AI tools like Adobe Dimensions and Hype, with a keen eye for contemporary aesthetics. This is a remote position with work hours aligned to the US Eastern Time Zone.

• Design and animate 3D characters for various media projects, including commercials, films, and digital experiences.
• Collaborate with the creative team to conceptualize, model, rig, and animate characters.
• Edit video content using AI-driven tools, incorporating graphics, effects, and transitions.
• Create high-quality animations for social media, marketing campaigns, and brand content.
• Design interactive and animated web content without coding, utilizing no-code platforms.
• Stay up-to-date with AI tools and animation trends to integrate the latest techniques into projects.
• Work on visual effects, post-production, and motion graphics using software like Adobe After Effects and Premiere.
• Contribute to the creative process, from brainstorming to final production.

Remote

Proven experience in 3D character creation and animation.
Proficient in creating detailed character models using tools like Blender, Maya, 3ds Max, or ZBrush.
Skilled in UV mapping, baking, and rigging characters for smooth animation.
Experience with AI tools in animation and video editing.
Experience creating interactive and animated web content without coding.
Detail-oriented with excellent time management skills.
Strong creative and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Excellent communication skills and ability to meet deadlines.
Availability to work during US Eastern Time hours.
Preferred: Experience in AR/VR environments.
Preferred: Knowledge of game design and character rigging.
